Allison Allbee | Co-Founder

Allison works with residents, organizers, and practitioners across the country to reimagine and advance strategies that create safe, healthy, and truly affordable housing.

She uses an intersectional lens to investigate how systems of segregation, disinvestment, and extraction continue to bear down on our collective health and well-being. Allison uses the tools of policy analysis, popular education, and community investment to support those most affected by unjust systems to advance necessary transformations in their communities.

Prior to founding Ground Works Consulting, Allison co-directed the Healthy Neighborhoods team at ChangeLab Solutions, and oversaw the organization’s health and housing practice. Allison was a Fulcrum Fellow at the Center for Community Investment. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a bachelor's degree in community studies and received masters’ degrees in building science and city planning from UC Berkeley.
