The Coalitions Building Community Ownership

Across the country, advocates for community-owned land and housing are joining forces. The coalitions below are standing coalitions focused specifically on community ownership, distinct from single-issue groups that form around one policy campaign or broader coalitions that also take up community ownership as part of their wider agenda. Most serve multiple functions, including networking their members, sharing resources, and building the capacity of start-up organizations, but policy change is typically a top priority.
